Voicing an Opinion at the Newseum – Washington D.C.

Newseum, Washington D.C. (USA)

I was born and raised about 30 minutes from Ferguson – a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. When I was growing up, Ferguson was a middle class suburb with tree lined streets and quiet neighborhoods. Now it has become the scene to evoke anti-war and civil rights movements of the 1950’s – where protesters are using their First Amendment rights to assemble and petition for change. Has the media adequately represented the conflict of the events in Ferguson? This kiosk located inside the Newseum in Washington D.C. attempts to poll visitors from around the world, who pass through its walls, to answer this question.
