Mystic Seaport, Mystic, Connecticut (USA)

The Charles W. Morgan is the last of an American whaling fleet. Built and launched in New Bedford, Mass in 1841, the Morgan is not America’s oldest commercial ship still afloat. The Mystic Seaport has restored this ship to its former glory days and in 2014 launched her from the Seaport for an eastern tour. She is considered a National Historic Landmark, more than 20 million people have walked her decks since she went on display at Mystic Seaport. This photo was taken as she entered her home waters at the Mystic seaport after a two month long display tour.
